Based off the awesome Phoenix Wright series, I hope that if your a fan of the series you knew that already. lets jump straight into how they came together…

Day 1

Here the shoes are day one. Lovely and clean, at this point I already had the basic idea of how the shoes were going to come together, had the paints ready and was busy sketching away.

Day 2

Getting the design and scale set, decided to cut it out and lay it over the shoes. This step really helped later on.

Day 3

Using a sharp white pencil, I started sketching out the outline of the design. Still wasn’t sure it was going to come together at this point.

Day 4

The point of no return, paint has hit canvas. I quickly realised to get a solid white this was going to need ALOT of coats, in the end it worked out about 5 or 6 coats.

Colour hits the shoe. Honestly, at this point i didn’t think it was working. I could tell what it was because I know what it was meant to be. But would others?

Back on track! putting in the highlights and definition really made it come together. Things were looking sweet again and I was happy.

In the end I added the black border and Bam, the shoe was done (the other shoes is the same process, but with the words Hold It! rather than Objection!) Couldnt really say how many house I put into them, All I do know is I listened to a TON of Smodcast, if your a fan of Kevin Smith I would say go listen to it, but you probably already are).I kind of start these things and I dont really notice the passing of time, heck I had fun doing them and I can’t wait to get started on another pair.

For that I’m going to need your feed back, once these shoes have gone I’m going to give out the details of the shoe straight off the bat, what I’m not sure of is what size to do them on – that’s where you guys come in. more on that later.

Until next time guys, heres hoping whoever gets the shoes in the end will post on this blog – would love to here from you.
